thoughts...
i tried to concentrate on my work,but i just couldn't do it.
my thoughts drifted,
as bits and pieces of our past and future lay
scattered in front of my mind's eye,
just out of my reach..
i tried to imagine us;
separated,
each living our own lives..
but the only pictures that
i can see, are those
filled with a vast emptiness..
i wonder what the future holds
for each of us in particular..
in time,
would we forget each other
and the four years we had
spent in tears and laughter?
was it any of us,
who held this friendship together?
but now that we're here,
let's treat our time with each other
like we've never before,
while we're still here, for each other..
life goes on regardless of our wishes..
we can't turn back time,
nor freeze it to preserve moments..
but we can cherish each and every day
that we shared; our laughs, jokes,
tears, sadness, craziness and smiles..
we all know,
that nothing lasts forever..
time passes and people drift apart..
but no matter what happens in life,
remember that we were once,
and will always be,
a trio, a clique, a family..
